The Killer of Stress Parasite
Transformational change is the best solution to kill our stress parasite which is interfering with creating a well-balanced life. Transformational change allows us to develop positive self-development and it is the process of developing our own self confidence to tackle problems and stressful situations that have to be faced by us.
Basically this process involves improving and understanding ourselves through excellence in action. For this we must make our minds free and must remove all the negative feelings and prejudices present in our mind. We have to question ourselves and critically analyze what are our strengths and what are our weaknesses. We must also understand our bad habits and good qualities and get the tools we need to get rid of our negative habits. This will be a self-healing and self-cleansing process in which our mind will be rejuvenated and healed.
Responding effectively to life’s stressors takes courage and introspection and it begins by our commitment to embrace that we are more than mere clay and desiring to live our best life. This will require us to take 100% responsibility for our life. Something delightful happens when we accept personal responsibility for our behavior and our results. It means refusing to give away control of our lives or fall into the traps of blame, victimhood, or apathy.
Taking 100% Responsibility is not easy, because it's human nature to "pass the buck". It is also not always easy to change behavioral patterns as we may have found ourselves blaming others or some external force. However, when we take 100% responsibility for our life:
- We accept that we have inherited the experiences we hold in our memories.
- We also lay claim to our right to create new conditions if we are not happy with what’s come before.
- We assume responsibility for changing what does not suit us.
- We acknowledge our own special talents and skills and truly comprehend our right to enjoy the journey.
In short, we embrace the meaning and purpose, the mystery and the beauty of our life. Yes, our life is very messy and tangled at times with many obstacles to overcome and bottlenecks to break through. However, we choose this Life. It is our responsibility. We can decide how to construct the individuals we want to be in order to respond effectively to our life’s stressors. This process may take time. Nevertheless, this is such a wonderful privilege and such an exciting adventure, to transform (responsibly) into the humans that our deepest longing desires.
Remember, we do not have to be sick to get better. We do not have to wait until emotional or physical crisis hits us before they become teachable experiences. With this in mind and like the tiny little sunflower did not let a big rock stand in its way of developing; I believe that we too have the capability of doing the same thing, to uncover the hidden blocks to develop new abilities, new skills to become stress resilient and learn to apply balance for our physical and mental rejuvenation and create a brand new life.
